Welcome to the VOSAN Assetto Corsa drift competitions library, where you can find official event partners of VOSAN, along with external events. Our aim is to list all competitive drift organisations in our library for the community to easily find the perfect event for them. From the highest tier of drifting, down to beginner street events to get started.

Car Specification Levels.

We rank events by their average driver skill level and required car specifications. High = Highest level of driver skill, in 1000+ horse power cars. Medium = Experienced drivers, and drivers looking to progress, in cars over 500 horse power and up to 1,000hp. Low = Lowest skill level drivers, beginners that are just getting into competitive drifting, Cars under 500 horse power.

Esports Drift Association

Esports Drift Association (ESDA) is a series of tournament-style competitions showcasing the ability to slide cars sideways through a course while maintaining angle, line, proximity, and style.

English.

Pro Spec. The ESDA Pro series, features cars with around 1,000 horse power, and fully custom built drift cars.

Medium-High This event features some of the best drifters in Assetto Corsa. With a competition of this level we would rank this event as a Medium-High entry point.

Licence Required To compete in ESDA Pro Series, you must first compete in a licencing event ahead of the upcoming season, where you can acquire a Pro licence to compete in their Pro Series.

PAID The ESDA Pro Series requires an entry fee at the start of the season.

No. The ESDA Pro Series locks in it’s selection of pro licenced drivers before the season begins, and drivers are not aloud to join after the season begins.

Prizes Yes, Money No! For ESDA the drivers entry fees go into a pot, and the winners and select a prize worth the pot total for that season. Plus additional prizes supplied from their fantastic sponsors!

Yes! ESDA Streams battles live to twitch through Podium Esports. VOD is also posted to YouTube.

Yes. You can use your own custom livery/skin design.

Czech Drift Series Virtual

The Czech Republic Championship in virtual drift is organized in accordance with the International Sports Regulations and the National Sports Regulations of the Autoclub of the Czech Republic (NSR AČR) under the name Virtual CDS organized
by the Czech Drift Series (CDS).

Pro Spec. The CDSV Pro drivers, feature cars with around 1,000 horse power, and fully custom built drift cars.

Medium-High This event features some of the best drifters in Assetto Corsa. With a competition of this level we would rank this event as a Medium-High entry point.

Licence Required! To compete in CDSV, you must first purchase a licence from their website for the season of competition.

PAID The Czech Drift Series Virtual requires an entry fee at the start of the season when you buy your licence.

Yes! The CDSV team accept drivers at any round throughout the season.

Assetto Corsa Drift France

Assetto Corsa Drift France (ACDFR) is a leading drift event organiser in France, paving the way for newcomers to join competition using their carefully constructed car pack and challenging tracks.

Strictly French Only.

Pro Spec. The ACDFR Pro series, features cars with around 1,000 horse power, and competitors can use their own builds or use one from the ACDFR Car Pack.

Although some gamers will disagree, instead insisting that rFactor or Forza Horizon are superior, there’s a reason that so many professional drifters have chosen AC as their platform of choice for getting seat time during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We thoroughly enjoy arcade-style drifting games, such as Forza Horizon for a chilled out evening in front of the TV.

However, there’s nothing quite like stepping into your sim rig, strapping on the completely unnecessary harnesses, pointlessly putting on your racing shoes, and sliding on your racing gloves.

When you’re unable to compete at events, or maybe you’re not even legally allowed to leave the house, sim racing provides the perfect opportunity to bring the race track into the comforts of your home.

Assetto Corsa provides the ultimate simulator gaming experience for those of you looking to learn how to throw your car down sideways without the inconveniences that come with real-world drifting.

Thankfully, with a sim rig, you won’t have to deal with repairing your drift car every weekend or the associated time and expense that come along with it.

Here’s the official Steam description for Assetto Corsa:

Once you’ve got AC installed on your PC, you’re ready to dive into the immersive world of Assetto Corsa mods as you prepare to find the ultimate drift car.

But, before you get ahead of yourself and end up punching the wheel out of frustration when you realize that sim gaming is a little harder than you anticipated initially, we recommend getting to grips with the basics.

Although sim drifting is incredibly realistic, the most significant difference is missing the ‘feel’ of what the car is doing for those transitioning from a real drift car.

Without feeling the traction to the road, or the weight transfer through the corners, it may be a struggle initially to adapt to using the cockpit view, but persistence pays off, and once you’ve put in a few hours, it’ll all begin to make sense.

Learning to Drift

If you’re entirely new to drifting, then you’re going to learn the basics of drifting before you begin hunting down the best drift cars in the game.

Although we understand it’s not possible for everyone, we do highly recommend purchasing even a basic wheel and pedal setup.

Two of the popular budget options are the Logitech G920 or the Thrustmaster TMX.

If you’re looking to go for something better, then the Thrustmaster T300 along with the Thrustmaster e-brake and shifter is a fantastic choice.

Assetto Corsa has today updated to version 1.6 bringing a host of new features alongside pre-Alpha Virtual Reality support and the Japanese DLC Car Pack.

Backed by a sizable changelog perhaps the hot topic of today’s new update is the surprise inclusion of the pre-alpha support for Virtual Reality headsets, a move inspired by the recent Kunos community questionnaire asking what features community members wish to see included in the title.

Other notable additions in the latest update includes the new addition of 4 wheel steering courtesy of the Nissan Skyline and Mazda RX7 as well as a work in progress All-Wheel-Drive transmission code.

As well as today’s update, Assetto Corsa fans can now purchase the much anticipated Japanese Car Pack which features 7 new Japanese vehicles including the Mazda MX-5 Cup racing car and Nissan GT-R R34 Skyline V-Spec.

Using Oculus with Microsoft Xbox-One Pad/Steering Wheel:
Regardless of the controller you use with Assetto Corsa, in this version you need a mouse/keyboard to control the GUI and access the ESC menu.

Sounds:
By default, Assetto Corsa does not yet feature sounds through the Oculus headset. To use it, you need to enable the Rift headset in your Windows settings. To do it, right click on the speaker icon (you can find the icon in the bottom-right of your Windows desktop) and set Rift headset as default playing device.

Driver position:
Press CTRL+SPACE to reset the driver position using the Oculus. Using other driving devices, you can reset the driver position pressing look left + look right commands at the same time.

Exposure:
You can reduce/increase the brightness pressing PgUp/PgDn.

Сразу отмечу, что некоторые автомобили имеют дрифтовые модификации, которые по умолчанию имеют вполне приемлимые дрифтовые настройки.

Рекомендации по настройке.

Вот вобщем то и все. Стоит отметить, что я брал крайние значения схождения и развала. В купе с «низкосортной» резиной было вполне достаточно.)))

Сразу скажу, что в этом симуляторе для эффективного набора очков более подходят техника при которой вы движетесь по трассе совершая постоянные колебания от кромки до кромки трассы с небольшой амплитудой.
Хоть красивый, затяжной и скоростной дрифт в повороте и выглядит эффектно, но с теми временными ограничениями в которые которые нас ставит игра, нам не удасться набрать много очков и получить достижения.

Желаю Вам удачи и терпения в этом не лёгком деле. Она Вам понадбиться.
Лично я когда понял, что тут почём в течении первых пятнадцати минут судоржного на тот момент дрифта, как то незаметно набил (и сразу содрал) на обеих руках кровавые мозоли, а постоянными подгазовками потянул мышцу правой ноги. 😉

Ebisu Circuit (エビスサーキット) is an established race complex at 1 Sawamatsukura, Nihonmatsu-shi, Fukushima Prefecture, 964-0088, Japan. The complex features 7 individual tracks plus 2 skid pan type circuits. The circuits are, Nishi (West), Kita (North), Higashi (East), Minami (South) as well as Drift Land, the School Course, The Touge (mountain pass) and ‘KuruKuru Land’ which are the skidpans. The most famous circuit is the Minami or South course which is for D1 and other drifting events. The Higashi or East circuit features a 420 metre long main straight with 20 ground floor pit garages and is used mainly for grip events.

Assetto Corsa has today updated to version 1.6 bringing a host of new features alongside pre-Alpha Virtual Reality support and the Japanese DLC Car Pack.

Backed by a sizable changelog perhaps the hot topic of today’s new update is the surprise inclusion of the pre-alpha support for Virtual Reality headsets, a move inspired by the recent Kunos community questionnaire asking what features community members wish to see included in the title.

Other notable additions in the latest update includes the new addition of 4 wheel steering courtesy of the Nissan Skyline and Mazda RX7 as well as a work in progress All-Wheel-Drive transmission code.

As well as today’s update, Assetto Corsa fans can now purchase the much anticipated Japanese Car Pack which features 7 new Japanese vehicles including the Mazda MX-5 Cup racing car and Nissan GT-R R34 Skyline V-Spec.

Using Oculus with Microsoft Xbox-One Pad/Steering Wheel:
Regardless of the controller you use with Assetto Corsa, in this version you need a mouse/keyboard to control the GUI and access the ESC menu.

Sounds:
By default, Assetto Corsa does not yet feature sounds through the Oculus headset. To use it, you need to enable the Rift headset in your Windows settings. To do it, right click on the speaker icon (you can find the icon in the bottom-right of your Windows desktop) and set Rift headset as default playing device.

Driver position:
Press CTRL+SPACE to reset the driver position using the Oculus. Using other driving devices, you can reset the driver position pressing look left + look right commands at the same time.

Exposure:
You can reduce/increase the brightness pressing PgUp/PgDn.

The Japanese Car Pack DLC is available to purchase from the steam store now for £3.99. For a limited period of time gamers can save 40% off the retail price on the title and pick the game up for just £17.99.
