Drift car assetto corsa
Drift in Assetto Corsa: car setup and efficient driving technique.
The manuals are written in order to facilitate, inexperienced amateurs autosimulator Assetto Corsa, the car setup for drifting. In addition, There is the description of an effective technique for driving a set of points in this discipline, and as a consequence of the opening of the achievements related to the drift.
Just note that some cars have drift modifications that have default settings drift quite comprehensible.
If you practice the use of all kinds of helpers, the first thing you need to disable all helps (ABS, traction control and stability control) and an automatic transmission. If you set a goal, getting achievements, it is not superfluous to disable tire wear and fuel consumption.
Here in general, and all. It should be noted that I was taking the extreme values of the toe and camber. In conjunction with the «low-grade» rubber was quite enough.)))
I must say that in this simulator for effective scoring more suitable technique in which you move around the track making constant vibrations from edge to edge of the track with a small amplitude.
Though beautiful, long and drift speed cornering and looks spectacular, but with the time constraints that are in the game puts us, we will not collect a lot of points and get achievements.
I wish you luck and patience in this case is not easy! Its need fo you.
Personally, I’ve realized how much there for the first fifteen minutes at the time drift, as imperceptibly filled (and immediately ripped off) on both hands bloody blisters and permanent accelerationi pulled muscle of the right leg. 😉

The Compound
The Compound v1
That secret drift spot. The Compound, also known as Mexico, Street Patterns or The Grid, is an area in southwestern Palm Bay, Florida, similar to Flagler Estates. It is a largely undeveloped area of some 200 miles (320 km) of paved road. General Development Corporation began development of the area in the 1980s, but went bankrupt in 1991; afterward, few residents ever moved in, and the streets fell into serious disrepair by the early 2000s and is now a spot for motorsports.
If you are having problems downloading or getting a error. USE CONTENT MANAGER!
Note: skidmarks wont be there as shown in picture. those are actual in game tire marks.
Note: 10 pits only
I dont expect this to be very popular. not everyone knows about this spot. I clearly underestimated that. lol

Fictional Freeroam track made by m96k3y.
Pits : 20
Idea was to start working on a track that could be used for roleplay but still have drift sections. In current (v3.0a) version what you see on the image is what is there to see. In future i plan to expand the highway further and make it look nicer. There is a small village with a center and some farms more to the side with gravel roads. Next location to be added is a small city with ability to drift / race on the streets. Custom made police, drug houses for RP use. Mechanic garage locations also for RP use. Criminal Hideouts to lose the cops & most important more locations like (Mountain town, Big City, Fictional’s private race & drift track etc)
I will see how far i can take this before i hit the limits of RTB and AC.
Show some love if you enjoy it. Remember this is a WIP & in early stage. The quality of this track will not be decent untill (v1.0.0)

Hakone Ohiradai Touge (Upper Course) V2
Moved from previous site
Greetings Racers and Drifters, after one and a half month of hard work, I’m now presenting my project and my first ever track map.
This project will going to reborn the legendary drift locations in Japan, acknowledging people the real deals happened in the late 80s and the early 90s, away from Initial D locations but the drifters were actually appear til nowadays.
The first location of this project is Ohiradai, located in Hakone, Japan.
Ohiradai is a well-known hot spring tourist spot at the mountain of Hakone, along with the Hakone hill climb train. The drift spot is divided into upper and lower part of the touge, well known for the continues curves and the easy access.
Here is the official site of this tourist spot if you ever wanna go for a visit: http://www.ohiradai.com/
This is the upper course replica. The up down dynamic with the continuous curves make low power cars can also enjoy touge drifting. The path to the Ohiradai hotspring is the U-turn point according to the course introduction back then.
This is my first ever track and it might not be the best one, but welcome for any feedback to make my next track better!
Next track work in progress!
And update coming soon.
At last special thanks Pixelchaser from ACmod forum for technical helping.
※HDR PP filter recommanded.
KEEP DRIFTING FUN!
Best Drift Cars in Assetto Corsa
Welcome to your new high score.
Assetto Corsa’s Drift Mode is equal parts very difficult and blistering fun, but finding the right car for your personal drifting preferences is the first challenge you’ll face before heading to the track. While any car in the game has the technical capability to drift, we’ve compiled a short and sweet list of the best cars for Drift Mode/Drifting.
NOTE: While these cars can drift without tuning, it’s recommended that you use the drift setup for each of these cars before you head out to the track.
Mercedes SLS AMG GT3
More than just a collection of random letters, this AMG GT3 version of the SLS is a wonderful machine for drifting. Its speed might prove tough for those just beginning to learn the ropes of Assetto Corsa’s realism, but when you’re comfortable with the feel of the game, this car will deliver high scores and multiple combos when in Drift Mode.
Nissan GT-R NISMO
If you’re interested in using a car that’s going to provide more of a challenge, the GT-R will test your mettle in balancing speed and braking to achieve a perfect drift. While its speed can make it an unruly drifter at times, this car will perform beautifully once you rein it in.
BMW 1m
A well-balanced drifter, the 1m is a great car with just enough speed to make things exciting, but not enough to turn your runs into a mess of chaotic spin-outs. Players looking to slightly increase the challenge of their Drift Mode runs without having to fight against the car too much—consider this option.
Fiat 500 Abarth
Don’t judge this book by its cover—this hot hatchback may not exactly deliver in the looks department, but under this tiny exterior beats the heart of a mighty warrior. The 500 Abarth version of this Fiat is extremely speedy and handles brilliantly, allowing you to attack your drifts at a higher speed than most cars in the game.
This is a wonderful car for any players looking to cut their teeth in Drift Mode or anyone just looking for some good slip n’ slide fun.
BMW M3 30
Widely regarded as the best drifter in the game, the M3 30’s balance of speed and handling is among the best in the game as far as Drift Mode is considered.
While it can get a bit unruly if you put the hammer down into your turns, it won’t take long for you to figure out that sweet spot between acceleration and braking. Perfect for veterans and beginners alike, this car is the absolute choice for easier high score runs and some plain drifting fun.

Drift car assetto corsa
Here are the main basics of learning to drift.
Drifting may seem hard at the beginning, but trust me it is worth it.
Where do I start?
The first step to drifting in games such as Assetto Corsa, is you want to make sure you have a steering wheel. Any wheel is fine as long as it supports a proper H-shifter or a sequential will do.
The wheel I am using/started with is a Logitech G920, which you can use as a starter.
I highly suggest saving up and getting a Thrustmaster wheel rig if possible!
When buying a Steering rig, make sure you actually get the peddles that come with a clutch, this will be needed so that you can clutch kick, for cases like, needing to rev up as the rpm’s may be too low, or to kick the rear end out that small extra bit.
Once all that has been taken care of, we can now go to the next step.
The next step
is actually getting the game you want to actually practice on, in this case we are using Assetto Corsa.
Now, for a game to practice on, I would mainly choose Assetto as it is one of the closest games to irl drifting.
Now for the next step.
Once you’re in the game you want to practice on, you may need to setup the wheel, peddles and shifter so they’re set up for better out comes.
Changing some of these settings may be a bit hard at first, but once you get a feel for things and know what works best for you is where you can properly start drifting.
Now, it took me a while to get my settings right for me but in the end, it was all worth it.
Don’t just try one thing and say that it is the best for you, actually go into the settings and mess with them for a bit and try to see what works best.
Once all that has been completed, we can now go to the next step.
Now, you’re probably thinking, what car should I practice in.
Any car is fine as long as it has enough power to spin the rear wheels and get you sideways.
Each car has different handling, this may be a little bit confusing at first but you will get use to it.
First, Make sure you’re not in a high powered car, as using a high powered car in the beginning may make it a lot harder to learn about how the cars work and what habits you should and shouldn’t keep doing.
Once you’ve picked the car, you are going to want to start. Any map is fine.
In this case, I would just go onto the map called ‘Drift’. We can download more later on but this is the main one for learning.
Throttle is a big thing with drifting.
It isn’t just about the counter-steering and the entries, it is also about how you use the peddles, for example when coming up to a turn you may want to use your brakes to slow down a little, but don’t use your handbrake to slow down as that is only to bring the rear of the car out more.
Learning throttle, braking and clutching, aren’t the easiest of things, but it is worth learning.
If you’re just about to switch gears, make sure to clutch in just before you do it, then you switch to the next gear, or to the lower gear.
This is also needed for things like takeoffs on the spot, handbrake entries, clutch kick entries, low rpm’s and many other cases.
One thing you want to make sure of is that you are not trying to be a crazy driver and go to fast, you’re actually going to want to slow down just before a turn, and then use the handbrake, this will also stop you from coming into the turn to fast, causing you to spin out, miss the turn, or go to wide.
Enough of that stuff, now you’re still needing help with the throttle, try to get a feel for the car, dont constantly sit on the throttle, what you actually want to do is if your car is not getting enough angle, not only turn in a little bit more but also try using a little bit more throttle, as it causes the rear wheels to spin quicker, meaning the rear end of the car will flick out more, and to do this if you are getting to much angle, it is pretty much the opposite, just use less throttle, counter steer opposite to the turn more, and you should be able to hold the drift after that.
Now, with all of these basic steps, you should be able to start drifting for the first time.
Yes, I know reading this may of taken a bit of your time, but trust me, it is worth reading this rather then just going in without actually knowing what to do.
Hopefully this helped everyone. I spent a lot of time Typing this.
But I’ve always loved helping people with things, and when I help people I try to explain to them in detail on how to do something.
Now, if this did actually help you, please Rate this guide.
There will be more Guides coming soon, with me explaining how to transition and all the advanced things.
Ultimate Assetto Corsa Car List
Whether you’re looking for the game’s free non-DLC list, the cars featured in each DLC pack, or the final roster of 178 cars, we’ve covered it all in this guide.
Introduction
It’s been more than six years since Assetto Corsa first hit the market in 2014, before later reaching Xbox and PS4 consoles in 2016.
Upon release, the original game featured just 37 cars from 10 manufacturers.
Thankfully, since then, gamers have not only built a gigantic third-party modding community, but Kunos have also provided many updates to the game.
The updates that have come along the way have been fantastic, but they can make it somewhat confusing when it comes to figuring out which cars come with the game for those who haven’t purchased the Ultimate Edition.
If you do happen to have the Ultimate Edition, then fear not, as all of the cars in this list will be available for you to enjoy immediately.
As time has progressed, we’re now treated to an impressive potential roster of 178 cars once the additional content is unlocked.
Since the game’s initial launch, there have been a total of 16 free cars that have come along the way with various updates and freely available packs.
But, it’s (unsurprisingly) the Premium content that gives the totals the most significant boost, with an additional selection of 69 cars from 24 of the finest manufacturers across the globe for your driving pleasures.
Although the final number may still not look too impressive compared to some of its competitors, such as Forza Motorsport 7, which features over 800 cars (when including the various DLC updates.) It’s the attention to detail that has earned Assetto Corsa its recognition.
Upon releasing the final content pack, Dream Pack 3, which was freely available for all players, Kunos officially announced that Assetto Corsa’s development had now reached the end of the road, much to the upset of many drifters.
Although Assetto Corsa continues to live on with Assetto Corsa Competizione, this latest game in the series is purely for the racers.
While it’s a great game, it’s certainly not going to be a temptation for those into sim drifting.
Thankfully, Assetto Corsa’s DLC is notoriously cheap and often available with huge discounts on the Steam Store, so it’s still well worth investing in the original game.
So, let’s take a look and consider which additional content packs are likely to be best for your needs.
Latest Assetto Corsa Car List Without DLC Content
If you’re keen to get started on Assetto Corsa, but you don’t yet have the funds for the DLC content, then fear not, as there’s still a great selection of cars for you to enjoy.
Although it’s not vital, it will be worth keeping an eye on which content you wish you had when you venture online, as you won’t be able to join the lobbies that feature the cars or tracks which feature in the DLC content.
Your best bet will be to keep an eye out for a Steam Sale, which frequently takes place, where DLC content can be picked up with huge discounts (often over 50%.)
However, if you’re explicitly playing the game for drifting, then we highly recommend that you take a look at the free mods that are available to download online, provided you’re playing on the PC.
We’re willing to bet that several lobbies are exclusively using the free third-party content available at any given time.
For now, let’s take a look at the base car list that comes with the game without having to lay down any more of your hard-earned cash for the additional content.

Latest Assetto Corsa Full Car List (Including All DLC Content)
As Assetto Corsa received various updates throughout the years, 16 entirely free cars were later released with updates to the game.
Gamers who purchased the 11 additional DLC packs, or those with the Ultimate Edition of the game, were provided with 69 exclusive cars.
These updates took the final car count available for your driving pleasures in Assetto Corsa to 178, from 24 manufacturers.
Here you can find the latest full car list, with all free and DLC (premium) content considered.
With Kunos no longer supporting Assetto Corsa, we sadly don’t expect to see any future updates arriving.

Latest Assetto Corsa DLC Content Car Lists
When it comes to premium DLC content for Assetto Corsa, this certainly isn’t essential, but it will want to be a consideration, especially for those who frequently play the game online.
If you want to join an online multiplayer session, chances are it’s going to feature cars and/or tracks that are part of the DLC content, and if you wish to join the server, you’ll need to be able to have the DLC.
In our opinion, based on far too many hours spent online, the DLC’s we most commonly see being used are the Dream Pack 1, which features the Nurburgring, and the Japanese Car Pack, which provides plenty of JDM goodness.
If you’re patient, then the Steam Store frequently provides huge discounts (around 50%) on all of Assetto Corsa’s DLC content several times a year, so if you can wait, then your patience will soon be rewarded.
With all of the DLC content purchased, you’ll have access to a total of 178 cars from 24 manufacturers in the game, with 69 of those paid DLC content and 16 available for free.
There are a total of 11 DLC packs for the game, which can also be bulk-purchased from the Steam Store. We would seriously consider which content you’re likely to benefit from, as we’ve found that we could get away with just running Dream Pack 1 and the Japanese Car Pack to suit our needs.
As you probably guessed, these cars will be unlocked for those who have purchased the ‘Ultimate Edition’ version of the game.
Dream Pack 1 DLC Car List
Dream Pack 1 was the first add-on pack to be released for Assetto Corsa in March 2015. It’s often regarded as a ‘mandatory’ update since it features the legendary circuit of Nürburgring-Nordschleife alongside ten extra cars.
Using Laserscan Technology, the Kunos Simulazioni team could guarantee the ultimate level of precision when it came to re-creating the Nürburgring, which made it the perfect choice for racers and drifters that were up for a challenge.
As well as the three Nürburgring layouts (Nurburgring-Nordschleife, Tourist, and Endurance), they also included the following cars in Dream Pack 1:
Dream Pack 2 DLC Car List
Dream Pack 2 arrived in October 2015, providing Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, which featured two new layouts using the highly-acclaimed Laserscan Technology.
Alongside Catalunya, nine additional cars were included in the pack, which featured the drift-fan favorite BMW M4 (both stock and Akrapovic Edition).
Dream Pack 3 DLC Car List
The final pack to come in 2015 was Dream Pack 3, released on 15th December.
Dream Pack 3 features the UK’s iconic Brands Hatch circuit alongside eight new cars, but none are specialist drift cars.
Japanese Car Pack DLC Car List
May 2016 was an exciting month for drift, and JDM fans alike, as Kunos Simulazioni rolled out the epic Japanese car pack.
We feel that this is the ultimate DLC content for drift fans, and its popularity has continued through to the present day.
Although there were no new tracks, they instead focused explicitly on bringing some of the finest JDM cars to the game, and they did so in style.
Red Pack DLC Car List
Soon after the Japanese Car Pack release came the ‘Red Pack’, featuring Austria’s RedBull Ring Circuit, alongside seven of Italy’s highly-regarded sports cars.
Although this won’t be much of a temptation to drift fans, there may be a car or two here that tickles your fancy:
TRIPL3 Pack DLC Car List
When Assetto Corsa was finally released for consoles, they celebrated with the release of the TRIPL3 Pack in August 2016.
Porsche Pack I DLC Car List
Many racers were disappointed with the lack of Porsche content in the game, so Kunos came along and flipped that on its head with the release of seven Porsches in October 2016.
Although they’re not the most refined for drifting, Porsche’s are certainly tail-happy for those of you that like to put your skills to the test.
Porsche Pack II DLC Car List
Kunos didn’t stop there with the Porsche’s, either!
Just one month later, in November 2016, they released the second pack, which featured an additional nine cars from a selection of the lineup.
Porsche Pack III DLC Car List
Aaand more Porsche’s!
As another month rolled by, so did another bunch of Porsche releases.
This pack featured eight more variants and certainly provided the fans that were after Porsche content with their fix!
Ready to Race DLC Car List
For all the aspiring racers out there, the Ready to Race pack, which hit the market in May 2017, will undoubtedly be one of the most appealing DLC packs to get your hands on.
Featuring a wide variety from the Toyota Celica ST185, right the way through to the R18 e-tron quattro, there’s something for everyone to enjoy from this ten-car selection.
Ferrari Pack DLC Car List
The final pack ever released for the game was launched in September 2017.
After the previous onslaught of Porsche’s, Ferrari took their turn to shine with this 70th Anniversary Pack.
The Ferrari Pack features seven of the most impressive cars ever released by the Italian manufacturer, with Kunos asking the community to vote for their favorites.
Assetto Corsa – Frequently Asked Car Questions
In this section, we’ll answer some of your most frequently asked questions when it comes to Assetto Corsa.
What are the best drift cars in Assetto Corsa?
We’ve written a complete guide on this subject, so make sure you head over to our Best Assetto Corsa Drift Car guide.
Although we highly recommend opting for the PC version of the game and exploring what the mod community has to offer here, there are several cars in the game that will be great to get you started.
For those of you on console or looking to make the most of what the game’s original content has to offer, we recommend the following cars:
Can you modify cars in Assetto Corsa?
Assetto Corsa has one of the most advanced in-game tuning engines, which will allow you to tweak just about everything imaginable.
From minor suspension components, you’ll be able to create the perfect setup right the way through to tire pressures.
When it comes to upgrades, this is where the mod community revolutionizes the game. So if you’re serious about modifying, we highly recommend getting the PC/Windows game and downloading your favorite mods.
Does Assetto Corsa support VR?
It sure does! Assetto Corsa is arguably the ultimate driving simulator for maximizing the potential that VR gaming has to offer.
Once you’ve invested in a VR headset, your AC experience will become the closest thing you’re going to be able to get to the real-world drifting experience from home.
For those of you who are yet to check out what VR has to offer, we promise that it’s an absolute gamechanger.
Don’t believe us? Check out these videos.
Firstly, this shows you how impressive AC can look with third-party mods. Try telling us you’re not tempted yet!
How about this, then? Mixed Reality takes things to the next level.
Although you’re going to need to invest in a VR headset and perhaps even consider upgrading your GPU to ensure you’ve reached minimum specs, we guarantee it’ll be worth it.
What’s next for Assetto Corsa?
Now that Kunos has ceased development for Assetto Corsa, it’s understandable that many gamers are looking to see what the future holds.
While the racing simulator gamers were treated to Assetto Corsa Competizione, the new game in the series isn’t likely to have much appeal to drifters.
Although we’ve heard many rumors of Assetto Corsa 2 being in development, there are yet to be any confirmed announcements. But, as soon as there are, you can count on us to keep you posted!
Conclusion
We hope we’ve cleared up all of your questions regarding Assetto Corsa’s various car lists with this guide.
Understandably, things can get a little confusing if you’re new to the game, and you’re likely to be left wondering which DLC content you should be considering.
Although the Ultimate Edition of the game will provide you with all 178 cars on offer right away, you may find it more beneficial to instead opt for the packs considered ‘essential’ by many gamers.
Typically, this would be ‘Dream Pack 1’, which includes the Nurburgring, and the ‘Japanese Car Pack’, which will be perfect for getting your hands on some of the best cars that the land of the rising sun has to offer.
Of course, there may be some other cars or circuits that are on your radar, in which case we highly recommend that you purchase them as soon as they’re available for a discount at the Steam Store.
With frequent sales of up to 50%, it’s well worth being patient to get the best price.
Let’s not forget that Assetto Corsa soared to fame within the drifting community, mostly thanks to the third-party modifications, which are available completely free of charge.
Make sure you head over to our Best Drift Car guide, which will provide you with everything you could need to know about modding the game and enjoying the thousands of cars and tracks from across the globe.
For those of you hoping to enjoy the best of what Assetto Corsa has to offer on the Xbox or PlayStation consoles, we’re afraid you’re likely to be left disappointed since there’s no way of installing mods onto consoles.
As disappointing as this is, we highly recommend saving up your pennies to switch to the PC/Windows platform along with a wheel setup and VR headset to appreciate what Assetto Corsa has to offer fully.
Sure, it won’t be cheap, but we can guarantee it’ll be a helluva lot less expensive than real-world drifting, with a lot less inconvenience!
