Wrecked cars

Hauling wrecked cars for Fleetari

There are four wrecked cars (: Hylätty auto) around Alivieska that can be delivered to Fleetari to earn money. The locations of these cars are randomized. One of them, a Satsuma GT wreck, spawns along with center console GT and spare wheel.

It is advisable to use the Gifu to tow the cars. The Kekmet can also tow them but has a slower top towing speed. One option is to use the Kekmet trailer, but getting the wreck on the trailer using the Kekmet front lifter can be tricky. When the wreck is on the trailer, it is advisable to attach the towing rope between the wreck and Kekmet so the wreck won’t fall off.

The wrecks may spawn inside a barn. You can bring the sledgehammer or an ax which will break down the doors easily. Alternatively, if axes and hammers do not appeal, or they aren’t at hand, the doors can be bashed open by hand, a big enough object (like a crate of beer) or with a vehicle — Kekmet, with its protruding forklift, works especially well. With the doors out of the way, go to the front end of the junk car and attach the towing rope to it and the back of your tractor. Using low-range gears is recommended, as the wrecked car will weigh the tractor down, reducing speed. When towing with the Gifu, the recommended shifting pattern can be applied to lighter wrecks. Beware of trees, or any other obstacles around, since wrecks can easily get stuck on them.

Drive it over to the car repair shop, park it near the other junk vehicles. If the Ferndale is standing in your way, the Gifu will take care of it quickly. Remove the towing rope, and go inside the repair shop. Fleetari should thank you for your «great junk find» and give you some money. The money will be laid on the counter, next to the service brochure. After taking the money, wrecks can be towed elsewhere so not to litter shop’s driveway.

The Haybale delivery (: Heinäpaali kuljetus) job involves the player receiving a call from Tohvakka asking them to retrieve all of his haybales located around Alivieska and deliver them to his farm for payment. By using the Kekmet’s pallet fork and trailer, the haybales can be stacked inside and taken over to Tohvakka’s farm, placing them inside his shed.

There are 23 total haybales to collect and deliver. 13 of them have been wrapped in plastic, possibly to ferment into haylage or silage, while other 10 are simply left open. It can take many hours to find and collect all 23 haybales so food and beer are recommended to be taken along.

Since the Kekmet is classed as an agricultural vehicle, fuel oil (red diesel) can be legally used without fear of getting a fine, but only if at least 1 haybale is in the trailer. Tractor joy rides do not count as agricultural work.

After completing the task, Tohvakka will reward the player with 3500mk and his trust, by letting you drive his harvester back from a different farm.

Tips and Tricks [ ]

This is NOT an easy OR a quick job. It is recommended you use the Kekmet and its Trailer for loading and transporting the haybales to the Farm and get used to maneuvering the tractor with its hydraulic fork. Unfortunately, the Kekmet’s fork cannot be used to pierce a haybale for picking it up. You will find in no time, however, that ramming the fork of the tractor in a haybale will not be very efficient at that, either. A lot of patience is needed even to deliver just one full trailer. While the following is not an official solution, it will help you speed up the process.

Getting Started [ ]

Even for one full load of hay bales, you will need supplies as this job will eat away many in-game hours and possibly real ones too. A beer case, food, as well as a Diesel canister for the tractor should be priorities. You could bring a full pan of coffee and some cigarettes, too, in order to deal with fatigue and stress. You might even consider fitting the Jonnez ES inside the Kekmet cabin or trailer for supply runs to Teimo, though that might severely hinder your movements. Your biggest worry will probably be fatigue, as the coffee pan can only carry so much coffee. Consider leaving the Satsuma, Gifu, or Sofa at Teimo’s so that you can sleep any time you restock or complete a run. Alternatively, you could carry the Sofa in the trailer, but that may hinder your transport capacity.

Fleetari Repair Shop (: Fleetarin korjaamo & maalaamo) is a car repair shop located in Loppe where the player may repair, upgrade, recolor and/or test their Satsuma. The address of the shop is Loppentie 8, and the owner, who is also the mechanic, goes by the name Fleetari. The car repair shop is open from 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.

Fleetari’s car, the Ferndale, can be found in front of the shop and can only be driven if an order has been placed for the Satsuma, and the keys are given to the player. This is so that the player doesn’t have to walk back home.

An outhouse is located just outside the shop. Below the bus shelter behind the broken Kekmet, the rocker cover GT and GT steering wheel can be found. The long coil springs can found between the orange Svoboda and the building. A Radar Buster can be found near the Coil Springs at the Outhouse. The coil springs are from a larger vehicle and are not recommended to be installed to the Satsuma.

Service brochure [ ]

The player can make the service orders by clicking the white sheet on the counter. This service brochure has seven pages including the front page; clicking the curved arrows on the bottom of the left page allows navigation. The order is accepted by clicking the pay now («maksa nyt») text on the bottom to the right page. Fleetari will let the player borrow his Ferndale when he is working on the car. After he’s done, he will notify the player with a phone call. After the phone call, the player’s Satsuma can be picked up from the repair shop. Currently, all services are 10% off but can be increased to 40% by doing vandalism for Fleetari. On the 24th-26th of December, Fleetari will give a 75% discount on everything from the service brochure.

Note: Fleetari will only fix broken engine parts if they are inside the office and are not attached to the car/other parts.

On the final gear change page, make sure to first click the price checkbox (1350) and then check a box next to the desired final gear ratio. A lower number means slower acceleration but higher top speed while a higher number means faster acceleration but lower top speed. 4.286 is the factory default (hand-written on the bottom of the right page; «vakio» means default).

Spare parts [ ]

Fleetari sells spare parts at the store that are in new condition, unlike used car parts dealers. Spare parts can be found on a shelf inside the store next to the front door. Parts need to be uninstalled from the engine before they can be found and purchased in the store. There is no discount on the spare parts.

Dynamo, lift and tools [ ]

Fleetari has a working dynamometer which can be rented on a per-hour basis by clicking ( LMB ) the advertisement to the left of his cash register. It costs 195 mk per hour and will tell the player the power output for their Satsuma.

To the left of the dynamo is a car lift, which is free to use, allowing the player better access to the Satsuma’s underside. The lift is raised and lowered with LMB and RMB on the control box fitted to the left front lift strut. Be careful not to knock the vehicle off from the lift while poking through.

In between the dynamo and lift, at the back of the room, is a tool cart housing every available tool in both the spanner set and ratchet set combined. No need to worry about bringing your tool kits, though the tool cart cannot be moved and is quite far away from the Satsuma if it’s on the lift. There is also a floor jack near the garage door.

When outside of working hours, tools inside the shop can be accessed by leaving the front door opened before shop closing. The tool cart can also be reached by leaning through shop’s back wall. Keep in mind that front door and floor jack positions will reset on game reload.

This means Suski has given birth to a child and it’s our (the player’s) responsibility to look after them both. Since the game is set before the year 2000, the child will be between 0 and 4 years of age. You won’t be able to kill the child (but you’ll probably be able to flip it off at least).

Not much is known about the game, and some might be subject to change, but confirmed features are:

Instead of living in the player’s parents’ house, the player will live in the town. Where exactly is unknown, but has been theorized to be an apartment (Possibly the one next to Jokke’s?). We do know, however, that so far it looks like the new house won’t have a garage and you’ll have to assemble the Rivett in your parents’ heated garage.

You can work on it outside, but this is Finnish winter and that’s highly unrecommended.

Release date

No release date has been published yet, though it supposedly will be released sometime after MSC gets out of early access.

Confirmed leaks

In January 2022, a picture of a car which appears to be the Corris Rivett surfaced on the internet. It is confirmed by Toplessgun himself. Due to the car’s worse graphic quality and the lack of interior, the picture is speculated to be of the Rivett very early in development, way before the Christmas 2020 MWC teaser video was made. So, even if this screenshot was legit, many changes have most likely been made since that time.

Pena’s 1975 Fittan is a non-driveable vehicle based on the 1975 Fiat/Seat 133.

Suggested to be owned by Pena, the Fittan assumes the design of a green city car, featuring worn bodywork, wheels with only one hubcap on, and a rear-wheel drive, rear-engined (RR) layout (based on the positioning of its engine air vent and the 133’s configuration). It also emits an engine sounds that resembles a slightly high-pitched Satsuma.

Pena’s Fittan serves as the sole traffic vehicle along the dirt roads of Alivieska on weekdays and hours outside the Rally Sprint Race during the weekends, traveling back and forth between Rykipohja and Peräjärvi. At each end of its route, the car either turns around at the excavation site at Rykipohja or circles around the town roads at the Peräjärvi end before heading back.

The car often poses a danger to the player or their vehicle whenever they travel along the dirt paths (Similar to the Techno Vitra), since there is little warning of the car’s approach or direction. The car maintains a consistently high speed of approximately 60-70 km/h, takes corners quickly, and does not stop or swerve around to avoid the player or any NPCs during normal travel. From dusk to dawn, the illuminating headlights of Pena’s Fittan, commonly visible in the distance around the lake, could be used to indicate the rough position of the car.

As the player jumps in the car, Pena will continue his journey, to eventualy turn into Kesselinperäntie. If player jumps into car between Kesselinperä and Peräjärvi, while the car is heading into Peräjärvi, Pena will calmly go to Peräjärvi, then turn there back and go to Kesselinperä.

While riding in the car, players can manipulate Pena’s driving speed; pressing M to give the finger will prompt Pena to drive faster without restriction, while tapping O will slow down the car, particularly helpful when cornering at higher speeds. When used competently, these controls can speed up travel in Pena’s Fittan, but also comes with the increased risk of Pena violently crashing the car due to excessive speeds, killing both himself and the player (the car lacks seatbelts).

Towing ropes can also be attached to Pena’s Fittan, allowing the car to pull lighter vehicles to the player’s home, the repair shop, Peräjärvi, etc.. The player should enter the vehicle that is being towed to ensure it doesn’t veer off the dirt roads, causing damage and possibly getting both of the cars stuck.
