The long drive car spawner

Greetings and welcome to my guide. I have spent some time shifting through the code of the game in an attempt to make a none-buggy multiplayer mod for people to enjoy but instead I find this. So, here’s the hidden mod menu that you can access just by using the TV and keyboard. Please note that many people are informing me that it doesn’t work. It does. Please see the «Notes» section of this guide and see if your problem is listed there instead of making two to three different comments informing me it doesn’t work (Because spamming the comments will totally get you somewhere and not just annoy me). Consider giving this guide a like and awarding it. 🙂

Now, onward to the guide!

First off, you will need a natural spawning TV and keyboard. For some odd reason, the set that is supplied in the starting house doesn’t work and I can’t say why. It could be some sort of safety precaution so people are forced to actually play the game and not be lazy.

Once you have obtained your TV and keyboard, go ahead and connect the keyboard to the TV and turn both objects «on». Where and how you do it will not affect this.

Once everything is ready to go and you see the word «READY» on screen, go ahead and type in the following: enable hidden_cache(1)

you’ll be greeted with this:

press «enter» on your keyboard once you typed it in and a «loading» screen will pop up.

Loading times will vary. They can take anywhere from a few seconds to a minute.
Now that the loading is done. You will be greeted by this on screen: the mod menu.

You will need to use the numpad to select whats on screen. For this demonstration, I’m going to select number 1, the Spawn Menu.

Once you have selected «Spawn Menu», press enter and move everything outside (for space purposes). The Spawn Menu will look something like this:

Now for this demonstration, we will begin with a simple box. type «box» on the monitor and press «enter». A box should spawn behind the monitor and fall to the ground if its levitated by anything.

Now, lets move on to something more complex. We will spawn a Dacia for this next example.

all vehicles spawned will have black paint. However, we can change that. Lets spawn a white Dacia this time.

We can also give the Dacia a more beaten down look by adding «R:» following a number between 1-4. 4 will give it 100% rust while 1 will give it minimal rust. Leaving the Color value set to white will reveal white paint when using the brush and spray bottle.

All cars will spawn with 0.5L of gas by default. We can, however, fix that as well as increase the size of the gas tank by adding «G:» following a number between 5-150. Lets spawn another rusty Dacia but allow it to hold 50L of gas.

This also works on weapons. However, If a G value, R value, and a Color value are assigned, revolver will not spawn. Only apply the R value for weapons such as the BB gun and the AK. Here is a revolver solely for the sake of testing.

1) Loading a save will break the TV. Meaning if you already have a TV and a Keyboard, you will need to find a new set to get the menu working again.

2) Dev Menu will crash your entire game 50/50 when trying to access.

3) Trying to spawn a UFO will crash the game. Possibly because it’s only loaded in game for a short while before the game deletes it.

4) Changing the acceleration of the bus to a negative number will crash the game.

5) Replacing your character model will crash the game. Possible because of the bone structures are different and the game has no idea what to do, However, turning yourself into a crate will not crash the game.

6) you can spawn a plane and drive it like a ufo. But If you get too far from the TV, the game will crash.

7) food spawned will completely sate hunger.

8) Instead of typing «devmenu» in the password prompt, type «crash». It will crash the game. Possibly a joke.

9) Drinking Diesel spawned from the menu will remove pee.

10) Spawning an 80L barrel full of blood will result in the barrel having a different model than the normal barrels found in the wild.

11) Doing an engine swap with spawned in parts can cause a audio loop that can be heard anywhere.

12) Spawning the revolver with rust 5 will make the revolver appear as rust 4 but will instantly become shiny once the spray bottle or sponge is used. Doesn’t affect other weaponry.

13) Spawning a revolver with more than 6 bullets in the cylinder will crash the game.

14) Spawning any gas powered vehicles with blood, alcohol, or water in the gas tank will allow the vehicle to operate like normal. Doing the same to diesel powered vehicles will result in the vehicle not turning over.

15) Selecting «Crash» under «Developer Menu» will cause the TV to explode, then crashing the game.

16) Only works with non up-to-date versions of the game.

This is a road trip game in an almost infinite random generated desert. The focus is on freedom, driving, exploration and immersion. It has minimal car maintenance and survival elements. Infinite Desert, Freedom and Driving. There are no invisible walls or unable to jump over small fences, or blinking red «wrong direction» signs on the hud. The car won’t need 10-20 liter fuel over just only a few hundred meters, with a full tank, you could go approximately 500 kilometers. If you see a distant big mountain, you can go there and if you are capable, you can climb it. If you don’t like where the mirrors are facing you can adjust them however you want or throw them away while driving at full speed. If you want to lean out of the car, or closer to the radio or near anything, you can.

The long drive car spawner

First you will have to patch the game.
The newest patcher/mod-loader is installed by the «TLD Workshop» tool.
You can always find the newest version of TLDWorkshop in the discord.
Join the discord by clicking the link in the bottom-right of the TLD menu screen.

In the discord you will find 3 sections relating to modifications.
#mod-loader
#modding-talks
#workshop-submissions
The Workshop tool is distributed in the #mod-loader section.
Check the pins for important posts, or scroll up until you find it.

For convenience I have been given permission by the author to add a direct link to the Workshop tool.
Do not rely on this being the newest version, as it is still Beta.
Do not report bugs or problems with the workshop here. I am not the author.

NOTE: Windows security settings may interfere with patching the game if;
1) your steam library is installed in the default system programs folder.
2) you have ransomware protection enabled with one-drive and Windows Defender.
The solution to the first problem is to run TLDWorkshop as admin, and the second problem will need you to temporarily disable one-drive or the ransomware features.

The Workshop tool can be run from wherever you saved it, but it is wise to put it in the TLD folder in your Documents folder, because it will put a few files in the same folder as itself when you run it (and this is also where the mods will be installed anyway).

This will patch one of the game files (Assembly-CSharp.dll) and make a backup of the original so you can remove TLDLoader if you need to.

1. You can now use the top button in the workshop to view and install the mods.
2. You will need to re-patch the game after any new game updates have been installed by Steam.

Now you are ready to install some mods.
The easiest way is to use the TLD Workshop tool you used to install the patcher.
Click on the button «Go To Mods» to open the curated collection.

Some mods need special instructions or have bugs, so please read the text before installing.
eg. You cannot use the item spawner until you have travelled far enough to unlock it.
You can also use the Workshop tool to update existing mods.

You may want to use other mods from places like ModDB or the TLD discord in the #mod-loader section, where you can find some other mods that may be unfinished, unstable or old.

For mods not listed in TLD Workshop, you will have to place the files in the correct folders.
Most small mods will just be 1 file with a *.DLL file extension.
Place the DLL files in the mods folder and you are done.

Bigger mods and those with extra assets will be packaged as compressed archives such as ZIP, RAR or 7z.
If you cannot open them by double-clicking, you need to install either WinRAR [www.rarlab.com] or 7zip [www.7-zip.org] (both are free and can open many types of compressed files).
Open the mod archive and drag the contents to the mods folder.
DLLs go in «Mods» and assets go in «Assets».

NOTE: Any mods you manually installed that are also in the Workshop, can be updated with the Workshop.
Some files may be named differently if installed by the Workshop tool.
The Workshop will attempt to detect these files and offer to change the names.

The Long Road 3.0 + Спавнер

Название: The Long Road 3.0 + Спавнер

Графическая составляющая:

Внедрены более качественные текстуры растительности (из Absolute Nature 2/4);

Унифицированы иконки второстепенных квестов. Убраны ЗП-шные пёстрые иллюстрации.

Геймплей/баланс/квесты:

Добавлена возможность обменивать у Ноя излишки провизии на трофеи мутантов;

При входе в зону сохранения на худ выводится иконка «домика» и надпись «F5»;

Сокращено количество апгрейдов на восстановление здоровья для тяжёлых бронекостюмов;

Большую часть квестовых предметов теперь можно без каких-либо последствий выбрасывать и перекладывать в ящики;

Вырезан квест «Особый заказ». Теперь по возвращению Шустрого мы просто получаем от него сообщение, что заказ выполнен.

Исправления:

Включены в состав актуальные исправления из «Unofficial patch: Call of Pripyat 2.0 build 021118»;

Доработан оригинальный уборщик трупов. Исключено удаление трупов c квестовыми предметами (© Kirgudu);

Добавлено отсутствующее сообщение от Азота, которое должно было приходить после разблокировки модуля памяти;

Убраны все оставшиеся упоминания о Новикове при разговоре со сталкерами;

Несколько десятков других, менее существенных корректировок.

Редактор сохранений позволит игрокам без труда редактировать файлы, на которых записан их прогресс в игре.

При помощи мода можно настроить инвентарь, позицию, на которой игрок продолжит приключение, статистику достижений, способности и многое другое.

Ankle-Support

Апгрейд делает обувь в игре более эффективной. Все типы ботинок получат модификатор, что позволит игрокам предотвратить возможные растяжения от падений или при перемещении по неровной местности.

Качество модификатора будет определять параметр защиты обуви. Каждый его пункт снизит вероятность травмы ноги на два процента.

Forlorn Muskeg Map

Улучшение добавляет в игру детальную карту местности, на которой будут отмечены замерзшие водоемы, ресурсы и постройки, а также опасные места, пещеры, источники пропитания и прочее.

Better-Placing

Модификация позволяет игрокам полноценно взаимодействовать с физическими объектами в игре при помощи колесика мыши и зажатой клавиши Shift.

Как и следует из названия, модификация меняет вид ночного неба на более реалистичный. Изображения луны и звезд в игре будут заменены на картинки с улучшенной детализацией.

Читерский мод, который добавляет внутриигровую консоль и горячие клавиши с огромным количеством команд, а также файл, в котором можно легко отредактировать предметы и статы игрока.

Еще одной фишкой мода, из-за которой его стоит скачать даже если вы не планируете пользоваться читами, это функция прыжка, которой сильно недостает большинству игроков.

Binoculars

Модификация пополнит инвентарь вашего персонажа биноклем, почему-то изначально в игре не предусмотренным.

Оптический прибор позволит не только осматривать территории с безопасного расстояния, но и развести костер, сфокусировав солнечные лучи на растопке.

MiniMods

Создатель: zeobviouslyfakeacc

Упаковка из нескольких модификаций, активировать которые можно также по-отдельности. Изменения коснутся особенностей игры, которые не столько ее усложняют, сколько раздражают пользователей.

Так, мод DisableBreathEffect позволит отключить пар, идущий изо рта героя, который здорово сказывается на видимости в ночное время суток, EnableStatusBarPercentages покажет потребности в интерфейсе в виде процентов, а не полосок, а WildlifeBegone вынудит игроков постоянно перемещаться в поисках дичи, изменив время и места спавна диких животных.

Завершим нашу подборку модом, который позволит навести порядок дома, отремонтировав ящики и дверцы шкафов, чтобы их можно было использовать как контейнеры для хранения предметов.

Кроме того, в помещении можно прибраться, удалив большую часть бумажного мусора путем сжигания или используя его как растопку. Получится также наконец удалять трупы и костры при взятии оттуда угля.

К сожалению, несколько популярных пользовательских апгрейдов, которые определенно просились в подборку, безнадежно устарели и не обновляются уже более года.

Я ужасно любопытный и постоянно попадаю в неприятности. И вот за окном светает, на столе четвертая кружка с кофе, прячусь в шкафу и все пытаются меня убить: ну и как тут заснуть?
