Can you make dxdiag.txt file after error appears and upload it on any filesharing service (e.g. pastbin.com).

Not really sure how pastebin works so I uploaded to dropbox instead, hope that’s ok:

According to your dxdiag.txt you have only integrating videocard. Simulator can’t work properly on such computers and laptops.

You can try to choose DX9 mode and lowest graphics settings with minimum traffic, but it’s also not guarantee stable work.

I have same problem when loading into free mode, error dialog appeared then game crashed (New installation, training mode sound works good, not tested all).
I paste the error content here so hope some one can find useful info from this thread.

That´s not mentioned on the game requeriments of steam and on the Game web. If it is supposed to be that City Car Driving is not supported with integrated graphic cards, please update the game requeriments. Other thing is that is like a fake assigment of not supporting integrated graphic cards, because i have owned like thousands of games in my steam library and they are actually working with no problems except two, grand theft auto and this game. For example, a game which is the same as city car driving but it has a bit more requeriments to play it is euro truck simulator 2, and it takes more specs, and literally works perfect on my laptop. So, the thing is, that city car driving for me is not necessary to have a high pc, because the game requires very low specs and it is supossed to run it on any pc or laptop which have like 4gb ram and an intel core i3 or more. So, for my opinion this game has literally lot of things to work on and fix it to stay stable with any computer. My pc specs are awesome to run the game, but it gives me lot of problems which make it unplayable. Have A Good Day! Sorry for my grammar mistakes!

Hello, I have been dealing with this problem for 3 weeks. It wasn’t there before. I deleted the mods. I removed it from Steam and completely deleted the files. I installed it from the beginning. no it doesn’t improve. the loading bar is coming to an end and this error; ND3d11TEXTUre:: CreateFromFile0: unable to load file’xturedds: characters / pedestrians / oldman6_diff.tga.dds » Please help thanks. I made Nvidia and intel updates. He did not improve.

Как исправить ошибку: nD3D11 Texture: CreateFromFile(): Unable to load file «texturesdds:/cars/Car50/car50_diff_x0.tga.dds».

Модов не скачивал, сразу запустил дефолтную, только купленную игру, после чего по советам пользователей игры сменил в файле mangalore ini с DirectX11=true на DirectX11=false но тоже не помогло.

Если у вас ноутбук с дискретной видеокартой, проверьте, что симулятор запускается на ней. Если у вас только интегрированная графика, то у вас симулятор скорее всего работать не будет.

В общем и целом, корректная работа на ноутбуках не гарантируется.

Да я заметил, сейчас поставил графику на низкую через панель управления Nvidia (убрал сглаживание) и отключил оверлей Discord, всё работает. Спасибо за ваш ответ.

Can you make dxdiag.txt file after error appears and upload it on any filesharing service (e.g. pastbin.com).

According to your dxdiag.txt you have only integrating videocard. Simulator can’t work properly on such computers and laptops.

You can try to choose DX9 mode and lowest graphics settings with minimum traffic, but it’s also not guarantee stable work.

I have same problem when loading into free mode, error dialog appeared then game crashed (New installation, training mode sound works good, not tested all).
I paste the error content here so hope some one can find useful info from this thread.

The first time i got:

STEP 2 : find the ‘starter.exe’
STEP 3 : Right click once.
STEP 4 : Click this Run with graphics processor
STEP 5 : Choose your own graphics card on the right.
STEP 6 : Enjoyable games.

May not work 100%

I have the same problem, tried everything but the error is still there. I bought the game yesterday and have no mods.

What error message do you have? Post a screenshot wiht it.

Also post DxDiag diagnoctic file from your computer after the crash.
In order to create this file, press the «Windows» and «R» keys simultaneously on the keyboard, type «dxdiag» in the window that opens, and click OK. In the window that appears, click the «Save all information» button and save the file to where you can easily find it. You can upload this file e.g. on https://pastebin.com/

Right, I think that you need to right click desktop and nVidia control panel then from there go to manage 3d settings and then there should be some app thing. click add, find starter.exe. then add it then go to graphics settings on the same page and find something that says gpu, then select the global and turn it to high performance gpu

Laptops (any) and computers with integrated video cards are not officially supported.

You can try advices below, but we cannot guarantee correct game working on laptops or computers with integrated graphics.

A similar procedure worked for me. In Windows 10: Press the Windows key, type in «Graphics Settings», then press enter. In the setting panel, select «Desktop app» for the «Choose an app to set preference», click «Browse», then navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\City Car Driving\bin\win32\starter.exe, and select «High Performance» (which should point to your GPU, not the integrated graphics card).

I tried every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way. No it doesn`t start when I go for free driving. This is suck!!

This can happen if you run the game on a laptop or integrated video card. Please note that laptops and intgrated video cards are not supported by the game, and were never supported (there was a warning about that on the product page in the system requirements section).
